Ju Hyun Lee (1981, Seoul) is South Korea born artist and researcher who lives and works in different places (sometimes at the same time). This year, she is based in Maastricht (NL) as a participant at the Jan Van Eyck Academy as well as in Saint-Etienne (FR) at the Cité du Design as an associated curator of the International Design Biennial 2017.

For several recent projects, she has been collaborating with Ludovic Burel, French artist, curator and publisher. They published in 2015, “Counter Fictional Design” which contains the scores (texts and images) of five of their conferences-performances (“Celebration of Body #2”, “The Mechanical Turk or Dwarf in the Machine”, “Purely Diagrammatic #2”, “Pop & Political Korean Karaoke – To Sing Foucault”, “Store & Scores”). For more information on the KVM.

Ju Hyun Lee (1981, Séoul), artiste et chercheuse, née en Corée du Sud, vit et travaille dans différents endroits (quelque fois en même temps). Cette année, elle est basée à Maastricht (NL) en tant que participante à l’Académie Jan Van Eyck, ainsi qu’à Saint-Etienne (FR) à la Cité du Design en tant que commissaire associée de la Biennale internationale du Design 2017.

Pour plusieurs recherches récentes, elle s’associe avec Ludovic Burel, artiste, curateur et éditeur français.
